Why is this item included in the 50% Off Clearance Sale?
The holy grail for LED bulbs for some time now has been an effective replacement for H4 halogen bulbs that mount in reflector headlights. We were hoping that the Philips Ultinon was it and we had it tested by our AC Beta Testing Team. It did pretty well but our final judgement was that it wasn't ready to be named Best-in-Class. So the search continues. At this price you might want to take a shot - much less than replacing your headlights with full on LED lamps.

Until now it has been disastrous to try and upgrade H4 reflector headlights to LED lamps by replacing the bulbs. Which is why we have always strongly recommended against it and have never sold them. But technology is always advancing and these bulbs are specifically designed for an H4 application by Philips which many consider to be the #1 automotive lighting company.
